No. Very bad product that went to waste after 2 uses.

Yes, you can solder 2 wires together. On the other hand, the quality of the iron is poor, and the temperature is not high enough or badly distributed, so I wouldn't recommend this product (there's a reason for its low price...).

Unfortunately, everything is in bulk, just spare parts.
