No idea what Plastazote LD 29 is
The hot cutter is perfect for polystyrene and rigid foam panels. I have never cut Kappa sheets. It would have to be tried out on a small workpiece. Kind regards Hans Berger

Yes, it works. Just experiment with the wire temperature, because if it's too hot, the cut parts stick together again easily. Great hobby tool for precise cuts.
