In my unit, the bracket is slightly bent; in one axis, the wire is therefore not vertical (2mm deviation on the 14cm).
The manual says that you should correct this by bending the bracket. Obviously there is nothing you can do by hand. Is this also the case with your devices?

Bending means that you move the carriage at the top and can thus change the angle of the wire (the bow thus has more or less tension). Can also be used for deliberate mitre cuts.
Do not bend the bow!
