It offers protection from rain, but you can't paddle across the lake with it. The lid protrudes a few centimetres above the box, like a small roof. The bottom of the box is only plugged together and therefore not tight. The best thing is to put it on some blocks, then it works very well.
This cushion box has the following internal dimensions: HxLxW approx. 77.5x136.5x72 cm and a filling capacity of 870 litres. There is no bag inside. But it is made of a weatherproof plastic.
