Purecrea Threaded inserts

This 77-piece set combines high-quality brass thread inserts with a practical melting aid for the soldering iron. It contains 70 inserts in sizes M2 to M8, covering a wide range for various projects. The inserts have a 45° curved profile, which ensures particularly strong anchoring in the plastic. This makes them a heavy-duty version and provides more grip than variants with straight grooves. The enclosed melting aid has been specially developed for use with a soldering iron and is supplied with six interchangeable attachments that exactly match the standard sizes from M2 to M8. This enables precise, centred and gentle insertion of the thread inserts. For optimum results, the processing temperature should be around 10-15 °C above the hotend temperature of the filament used. This set is therefore ideally suited for prototyping, modelling and use in 3D-printed plastic parts where particularly resilient connections are required. The threaded inserts are made of solid brass for high stability. The 45° curved profile ensures maximum anchoring in the plastic.
