The CableTool measures the length of all types of copper cables: network and telephone cables, coaxial cables, as well as conventional power supply cables can be measured for length or distance to a fault such as cable crushes, interruptions, or short circuits using the built-in, fully functional TDR (Time Domain Reflectometer). With the voltmeter function, you can identify active lines. Additionally, the CableTool features a tone generator for cable tracing. With the optional CableTracker probe, the cable path can be clearly located in cable ducts and behind walls.
