18428 Kraft Socket 1/2" CrMo 6pt 28 mm, Proline socket inserts designed for use with pneumatic wrenches under harsh conditions and varying loads. Made from durable chrome-molybdenum steel (CrMo) for longer lifespan, with double the tensile strength and three times the yield strength compared to conventional chrome vanadium tool steel sockets. The PROLINE socket features specially contoured rounding in the blunt corners between the working surfaces. The PRO-DRIVE system prevents the accumulation of excessive point loads in the corners between the socket teeth and the screw, allowing for an increase in torque without breaking the socket. It enhances the durability of the cover and protects the edges of the protruding bolt. Square socket inserts are compatible with most locking mechanisms found in reliable pneumatic tools.
