The Sarracenia purpurea venosa (pitcher plant) is an evergreen carnivorous plant. Since it is hardy, it can also be cultivated outdoors. The preferred location for Sarracenia purpurea venosa is bright to sunny. It requires plenty of water. The leaves of the plant may initially be green, but over time they will turn red. Sarracenia purpurea venosa can reach sizes of about 30 cm. This plant is not suitable for households with cats and small children.

Care Instructions
Location: Bright to fully sunny location. The plant can even tolerate direct midday sun. Please keep in mind that the plant needs to acclimate to its new location, so gradually introduce it to the sun. Avoid shady or partially shaded spots.
