The well-known olive tree is perfect for cultivation on a balcony or terrace. Of course, it can also be planted in the garden, where it should be placed in a location that is as wind-protected as possible. The olive tree thrives in bright light and enjoys full sun. In winter, it should be overwintered outdoors in a sheltered spot.

General Information
Your plant arrives freshly repotted in a larger black cultivation pot with drainage holes made from recycled material and fresh, peat-free Swiss soil. This means you won't have to worry about repotting. You may need an outer pot or saucer. The pot has a diameter of 17 cm, and the plant, including the pot, stands at approximately 35 cm tall. The suitable outer pot should have a diameter of 19 cm to 20 cm. Shipping is done directly from Switzerland.

Care Instructions

Location: Bright to fully sunny spot. The plant can even tolerate direct midday sun. Please keep in mind that the plant needs to acclimate to its new location, so gradually introduce it to the sun. Avoid shady or partially shaded areas.

Watering: Moderately. Approximately every 7 days, more often in high summer. Stick your finger one to two centimeters into the soil. Water well. Ensure that excess water can drain away by removing the outer pot for a few minutes. Adjust the watering interval based on the location and season!

Fertilizing: From March to October: every two weeks with liquid fertilizer for green or houseplants.
