Hoya rosita (Wax Plant)

The Hoya rosita (Wax Plant) originates from the tropical regions of China. For this reason, it relies on high humidity. A bright bathroom is highly recommended, or alternatively, a humidifier is welcome. The Hoya rosita also requires a warm and bright location, but no direct sunlight. It should be watered sparingly, as it stores water in its leaves. The stems can grow three to five meters long, and no two leaves are alike. Young leaves are typically red to dark red. In summer, the plant may also produce flowers. The plant is considered slightly toxic, making it unsuitable for households with pets.

Note: Depending on the season, the stems may be shorter than shown in the picture. The plant is shipped with stem lengths of 20 to 50 cm!

General Information
Your plant comes in a plastic hanging pot. The pot has a diameter of 14 cm, and the plant has a height of approximately 30 cm, including the pot. Shipping is directly from Switzerland.

Care Instructions
Location: Choose a bright location. No direct sunlight, as this can burn the sensitive leaves.

Watering: Rarely, about once a month. Water only when the soil is completely dry. Stick your finger two to three centimeters into the soil. Water sparingly and ensure that excess water can drain away. Remove the outer pot for a few minutes to allow drainage. Adjust the watering interval according to the location and season!

Fertilizing: From March to October, once a month with liquid fertilizer for green or houseplants.
