Aeschynanthus Japhrolepis (Lipstick Plant)

Originating from Asia, the evergreen Aeschynanthus Japhrolepis (Lipstick Plant) produces red flowers in spring. It is an excellent choice for hanging baskets as it tends to trail. The Aeschynanthus Japhrolepis prefers a bright location but should not be exposed to direct sunlight. Watering should be done approximately once a week. The soil should never dry out completely, but waterlogging must be avoided. Regularly mist with low-calcium water. The stems can reach lengths of up to 120 cm. This plant is not suitable for households with pets.

Note on flowering plants: At the time of shipping, the plants may not yet be in bloom. Flowering typically occurs later.

General: The pot has a diameter of 15 cm, and the plant, including the pot, has a height of about 30 cm. The plant is delivered in a hanging basket or pot. Shipping is direct from Switzerland.

Care Instructions:
Location: Bright, but no direct sunlight.

Watering: Regularly, approximately once a week. The soil should remain consistently moist. However, ensure that no waterlogging occurs. To prevent this, remove the outer pot for a few minutes. Adjust the watering interval based on location and season!

Fertilizing: From March to October: every two weeks with liquid fertilizer for green or houseplants.

Special: If possible, regularly mist or rinse with lukewarm water.
