Plant in a Box Spathiphyllum 'Torelli' - Peace Lily

Better known as the peace lily, these delicate plants are renowned for their ability to remove pollutants from the air. Spathiphyllum forms a dense cluster of large, upright, glossy, evergreen leaves with gently drooping tips, making this plant a beautiful houseplant all year round. In spring and early summer, elegant white spathes appear, rising above the foliage on slender stems. With its white flowers, Spathiphyllum stands out distinctly from other green houseplants. A Spathiphyllum can bloom several times a year with proper care. Each blooming period lasts up to 10 weeks, making it an exceptional long-bloomer.

Care
The Spathiphyllum requires more frequent watering than other houseplants. Therefore, it is recommended to water the plant twice a week in summer and once a week in winter. Signs of water deficiency include the leaves of the Spathiphyllum starting to droop. Additionally, the plant should not be placed in direct sunlight; it prefers a shadier location. Another important aspect is to remove the dead flowers as soon as they have bloomed, allowing the plant to direct its energy towards producing new leaves and flowers.
