Product details

Spathiphyllum, better known as the peace lily, is famous for its ability to remove pollutants from the air. Spathiphyllum forms a dense clump of large, upright, glossy, evergreen leaves with gently drooping tips, making it a beautiful houseplant all year round. The houseplant is suitable for dark and shady locations. In spring and early summer, the elegant white umbels appear on slender stems above the foliage. With its white flowers, the Spathiphyllum stands out clearly from other green houseplants. With good care, a spathiphyllum can flower several times a year. The flowering period lasts up to 10 weeks each time, making it an exceptional perennial.

Care
The monocot needs more water than other houseplants. It is therefore recommended to water the plant twice a week in summer and once a week in winter. A lack of water can be recognised by the fact that the leaves of the Spathiphyllum begin to droop. In addition, the plant should not be placed in full sun; it prefers a shady spot. Another important aspect is to remove the faded flowers as soon as they have bloomed so that the plant can put its energy into producing new leaves and flowers.
