Product details

The summer raspberry Rubus idaeus Malling Promise produces wonderfully soft raspberries. The plant blooms with pretty white flowers in May and June, and the raspberries are ripe for picking in July. Malling Promise is a self-pollinating plant, so you don't need another plant to produce fruit. The large raspberries are rich in vitamin C and fibre and are low in calories. They can be stored in the fridge for up to three days, but taste best straight after picking.

Care
Malling Promise likes a location in full sun or partial shade and prefers an acidic to neutral, well-drained, humus-rich soil. Make sure that the plant remains sufficiently moist, especially if it is in a pot, check regularly that the soil is sufficiently moist. Pruning is very important to encourage new growth. Cut the plants back to the ground every autumn/winter. The plant will sprout again in spring.

Size
On delivery, the plants have a height of 50-60 cm, measured with the growing pot. The plants are supplied in a growing pot with a diameter of 15 cm.
