The stem rose can be placed on the patio or in the garden. The plant also comes into its own in a pot or on the balcony. The foliage is glossy dark green. The varieties are very disease-resistant and slightly fragrant and flower until the first frost.

Care
These standard roses can be planted indoors (in a light spot) or outdoors in a sunny spot. Avoid bright sunlight in summer. Filtered sunlight is recommended. The best location for the standard rose is in partial shade. Do not allow the root ball to dry out and water the plant regularly. For best results, apply rose fertiliser once a month. After the stem rose has flowered, you can cut the plant back to 5 centimetres above the stem. A compact root ball will then remain. The plant will then grow again and flower again after two months.
