Product details

The red berries of Ribus Rubrum 'Jonkheer van Tets', also known as red currants, are rich in vitamins B and C and taste delicious. The berries can be eaten directly from the bush, but they are also great for smoothies, juices, or jams. They are also delightful in yogurt or cakes. This berry bush produces many berries that can be harvested in June and July. When the plant is in the sun, the berries ripen well.

Care
The Jonkheer van Tets is an easy-to-care-for plant. The bush can be planted year-round in a sunny or partially shaded spot. When the plant is in the sun, the berries ripen better. Make sure it doesn’t freeze when planting the plant. The type of soil is not very important for the plant, but it is essential that the soil is sufficiently moist and not too calcareous.

Size
At the time of delivery, the plants have a height of 50-60 cm, measured with the nursery pot. The plants are delivered in a nursery pot with a diameter of 15 cm.
