Care
Forsythia prefers a sunny or semi-shady location with humus-rich soil. The plant produces new shoots in summer, which produce new flowers the following spring. It can be pruned back every year after flowering and branches can be cut off at the end of winter, which will then flower beautifully in a vase. After flowering, the deep green leaves appear and from this point onwards the plant requires less care. Forsythia is not poisonous.
