Product details

Fargesia nitida "Black Dragon" is native to China and has a unique appearance due to its black branches. The new shoots are initially green but quickly turn black when exposed to sunlight. Fargesia Black Dragon is semi-evergreen, frost-resistant, and non-invasive, making it an ideal garden plant! The maximum height of the Black Dragon is 3 meters, which also makes it suitable for creating a beautiful, dense hedge. Young shoots tend to lose their leaves, while older branches retain most of their foliage.

Care: Fargesia Black Dragon prefers a spot in full sun or partial shade and requires moderate to ample water. Water the plants regularly during the summer and on hot days. It is recommended to plant the bamboo at a distance of 40-60 cm apart when planted outdoors. However, it is also possible to plant the plants in a pot in the garden!

Size: Upon delivery, the plants are 25-40 cm tall, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 14 cm.
