Product details

Musa Ensete Maurelii is a very exotic and special banana plant, known for its extremely large leaves, its height, and its beautiful red color. Due to its red leaves, it is also called the Red Banana. The red banana plant is quite unique, featuring stunning red-purple-like leaves with a thick stem. Its leaves can grow up to one meter long. It can also be kept in the garden during the summer months and is truly a sight to behold.

Care: The Musa Maurelli requires plenty of water and should be fertilized in the summer. You can keep the plant in a pot or plant it in the ground. Bring the plant indoors in winter, as it cannot tolerate temperatures below freezing. Water the plant again only when it goes outside in spring. The Musa Ensete Maurelii should be overwintered in a frost-free environment. In winter, it is best to keep the plant a bit drier. Otherwise, the banana plant requires little maintenance.

Size: The plants are 55–70 cm tall at delivery, measured including the plant pot. They are delivered in a pot with a diameter of 21 cm.
