Clusia rosea 'Princess' is a relatively unknown houseplant. It is a robust plant with rather large leaves that shine beautifully. The plant occurs naturally in tropical and subtropical areas. Its range extends from the south of the United States to South America, but Clusia is mainly found in the Caribbean. It grows on a variety of substrates ranging from swamps and tropical forests to lava landscapes. The Clusia is a good air purifier, purifying up to 30 m2 of air. Clusia is a robust houseplant that is very suitable both in solid form in the living room and in hydroponics or as an indoor plant.

Care
Clusia is a robust houseplant that can take a lot of rough treatment. The plant needs plenty of water. For short periods it can tolerate quite low temperatures around 10 degrees, but the best place for this plant is a heated living room with at least 16 degrees. Colder winter temperatures can be harmful and are therefore not recommended as they do not occur in subtropical nature. As for the location, it is best to put the Clusia in a place that is as bright as possible, without direct sunlight.
