Plant in a Box Clusia rosea 'Princess' - Balsam apple

The Clusia rosea 'Princess' is a relatively unknown houseplant. It is a robust plant with quite large, beautifully shiny leaves. In nature, the plant is found in tropical and subtropical regions. Its range extends from the southern United States to South America, but it is mainly found in the Caribbean. It grows on a variety of substrates, ranging from swamps and tropical forests to lava landscapes. The Clusia is a good air purifier, capable of cleaning up to 30 m² of air. Clusia is a hardy houseplant that is well-suited for both solid form in the living room and for hydroponics or as an indoor plant.

Care
Clusia is a robust houseplant that can withstand rough treatment. The plant requires a lot of water. It can tolerate relatively low temperatures of around 10 degrees for a short time, but the best place for this plant is a heated living room with at least 16 degrees. Cooler winter temperatures can be harmful and are therefore not recommended, as they do not occur in its subtropical habitat. Regarding placement, it is best to position the Clusia in a bright spot without direct sunlight.

Size
The plants are delivered with a height of 25-35 cm, measured including the growing pot. The plants come in a growing pot with a diameter of 12 cm.
