The "Carmona" is a graceful, S-shaped bonsai that cuts a fine figure in any living room. Bonsai, which means "tree in a pot", is an ancient art form originating in Asia that is also very popular in Europe. The shape is achieved by guiding the young cutting along one or two sticks.

Care
Make sure that this bonsai gets enough moisture. Water when the soil begins to dry out (and not much more frequently) to prevent both leaf drying and root rot. Light is essential for growth. Therefore, place the bonsai in a well-lit area and avoid direct sunlight for long periods of time. Maintain the shape of the bonsai by pruning the shoots that protrude beyond the silhouette. Remove shoots that grow downwards or upwards to ensure health and shape.
