Product details

The Alcea, commonly known as hollyhock, originally comes from Turkey or Palestine and was introduced to Europe in the 16th century. A hollyhock is a romantic plant, as it closely resembles roses. This mix of Alcea includes plants that produce red, yellow, and purple flowers between July and September. The leaves are green and about 40 cm tall. You often see this beautiful flower against a wall or fence facing south, as the plant loves the sun. The flowers of the Alcea attract bees and butterflies, transforming your garden into a stunning place.

Care
The Alcea grows best in a sheltered, warm, and not too damp location. It is preferable to plant hollyhocks in smaller groups. They look great on a pergola, a fence, or against a south-facing wall of a house. In dry and sunny weather, the plants need a little more water. Over time, the Alcea can grow quite tall, reaching up to 300 cm.
