Product details
Adenium, better known as the desert rose, is a particularly beautiful plant. As the name suggests, it originates from the dry parts of the desert in East and North-East Africa. In this country, the Adenium can grow up to 5 metres tall, with a beautiful, characterful, bare trunk. Fortunately, it doesn't grow that tall here. The Sting desert Rose is characterised by its beautiful pink flowers, fresh green leaves and the whimsical shape of the stem.
Care: As the Adenium is a desert rose, it needs plenty of sun, preferably in a southerly direction. If the Adenium does not get enough light, it will not flower. Water the Adenium regularly with small sips of water. The plant normally flowers until the end of July and its second flowering period is in September to October. If the Adenium becomes too large, you can cut it back partially, preferably after the flowering period. If the plant develops side shoots, it is best to cut these off. This allows the plant to concentrate its energy on the flower at the top. When the plant is flowering, it needs more water than usual.
