Product details

The 'Ukigumo' is a special variety of Japanese maple. You simply can't take your eyes off the fascinating leaves of this small tree. This maple has green leaves with white and pink spots. Some leaves have no spots, others are either completely white or pink. In autumn, the leaves turn orange and red. Ukigumo has no leaves throughout the winter, but as soon as spring arrives, its beautiful leaves reappear. You can enjoy this beautiful plant year after year!

Care
Acer palmatum 'Ukigumo' is a slow-growing plant that is ideal for smaller gardens or balconies. It does not require much care. The Ukigumo prefers a spot in partial shade. This way, its roots and leaves will not be burnt by the sun. The Acer prefers a well-drained soil. Water the maple regularly, especially during dry periods. Japanese maples are best planted from March to early November. During this time, the soil is warmer and the plants can root well.
