Product details

The Acer 'Shaina' on a trunk is one of the many varieties of Japanese maple. This Japanese maple features beautiful colors that brighten up your garden. In spring, the tree produces bright red leaves. In summer, the leaves turn chestnut brown and red, and in autumn, they become carmine red. This mix of colors makes the tree a special sight and a lovely addition to your garden.

Care: Japanese maples are best planted from March to early October. During this time, the soil is warmer, allowing the plants to root easily. Japanese maples are robust plants, but in a windy location, the leaves can be easily damaged. Therefore, place the Acer in a sheltered spot. The plant prefers a location in partial shade, ideally with not too much direct sunlight. Too much direct sunlight can cause the roots and leaves to dry out, leading to leaf damage. The Japanese maple is not evergreen, meaning it loses its leaves in winter. However, it is very resilient and will sprout again in March with beautiful new leaves. The Shaina is a slow-growing tree with a narrow, upright growth habit, keeping the plant compact. This allows the tree to be planted in a pot or in a smaller garden.
