The beautiful Acer Orange Dream has a rounded growth form with deeply lobed leaves. This maple changes color throughout the year: in spring, the leaves are fiery red to pink-red, in summer they turn blue-green with red veins, and in autumn, the maple regains its red color. This maple is very well suited for a compact garden as it grows slowly. If the maple becomes too large, prune it back in March.

Care
Japanese maples can be best planted from March to early October. During this time, the soil is warm and the plants can root well. In a planting container, this plant does not require special potting soil. Japanese maples are robust plants, but in a windy location, the leaves can be damaged. Therefore, place the Acer in a sheltered spot. The plant prefers a location in partial shade, ideally without too much direct sunlight. Too much direct sunlight can cause the roots to dry out, leading to leaf loss and burns. The Japanese maple is not evergreen, meaning it loses its leaves in winter. However, the plant is very hardy down to -20°C and will sprout again in March with beautiful new leaves.

The plant has a height of 25-40 cm at the time of delivery, measured including the pot. The plant is delivered in a growing pot with a diameter of 10.5 cm.
