Product details

This beautiful Japanese dwarf maple is an ornament for any garden, but it also looks great in a pot or container on the terrace or balcony. The slowly growing plant forms a branched, upright shrub with pink, white, and green variegated leaves. The autumn coloring is a lovely rosy red. The plant is hardy and deciduous.

Care
Japanese maples are best planted from March to early October. During this time, the soil is warmer, and the plants can root well. In a planting container, this plant does not require special potting soil. Japanese maples are robust plants, but their leaves can be damaged in a windy location. Therefore, place the Acer in a sheltered spot. The plant prefers a location in partial shade, ideally without too much direct sunlight. Too much direct sunlight can dry out the roots, leading to leaf loss and burns. The Japanese maple is not evergreen, meaning it loses its leaves in winter. However, the plant is very resilient and will sprout again with beautiful new leaves starting in March.

Size
The plant has a height of 25-40 cm at delivery, measured including the pot. The plant is delivered in a pot with a diameter of 10.5 cm.
