This pluggable lightning current arrester (type 1/Class I arrester) functions as an N/PE spark gap, featuring an ignition mechanism for triggering the response voltage. It provides protection against incorrect assembly with incorrect plugs due to the mechanical coding of the base element and plug. There is a labeling option for the protective plug and terminals on the base element. It includes 2 biconnect terminals each for N and PE, allowing for the connection of round conductors and wiring bridges.
