This pluggable lightning current arrester (Type 1/Class I arrester) serves as an N/PE spark gap, featuring an ignition mechanism for triggering the response voltage. It includes protection against incorrect plugging with incorrect plugs through mechanical coding of the base element and plug. There is a labeling option for protective plugs and connection terminals on the base element. It has two biconnect terminals each for N and PE, designed for connecting round conductors and wiring bridges.
