This type 3 surge protector is designed for universal mounting in installation boxes, skirting channels, underfloor installations, or directly in the end device. Installation can be done in either loop or through-wiring configurations. Side tabs on the device allow for easy attachment. Flexible conductors with ferrules or rigid wires up to 2.5 mm² can be connected to the spring-loaded terminal pockets. The surge protector can be used worldwide in grounded, isolated 230 V networks. Insulation measurements up to 500 V can be performed without removing the surge protector. The circuit is thermally monitored. In case of overload or defect, an acoustic warning signal alerts the user. In such cases, the internal protection circuit is disconnected from the power supply, ensuring that the operation of the protected system is not affected.
