Aluminium oxide A - Cylindrical shape - Abrasive belts are used in series production, finishing, and assembly. Tear-resistant, fully synthetic resin-bonded material forms the basis. Long tool life is achieved due to good grain adhesion. The addition of grease or grinding oil is recommended, especially for light metal machining. Recommended peripheral speed Vc is approximately 20 - 30 m/sec.

• Recommendation for use: Use grinding oil suitable for the material to significantly increase tool life and grinding performance. For best performance, use at a recommended cutting speed of 20-30 m/s. For a secure fit of the abrasive sleeve, observe the minimum speed of the abrasive sleeve carrier. For easy changing of the abrasive spiral bands, pull them on and off with a slight clockwise rotation.

Materials that can be machined: steels up to 1,200 N/mm² (54 HRC), malleable cast iron, thermoplastics, aluminium, stainless steel (INOX), brass. Applications include surface machining, roughening, sharpening, weld seam machining, stepwise fine grinding, deburring, edge machining, and levelling.

Safety instructions: The maximum permissible peripheral speed is 30 m/s. For safety reasons, the specified maximum permissible speed must never be exceeded. Do not allow the abrasive sleeves to protrude beyond the abrasive sleeve support.
