Pendularis Set 1.0 Royal (Black)

The floating gardens of Pendularis effortlessly transform interiors into green oases, improve the indoor climate, and their lightness conveys a sense of well-being. Pendularis combines design, plants, and botanical expertise – aesthetically pleasing, functional, and healthy. It is the result of several years of research at the Institute for Environment and Natural Resources at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences. The modular structure and the selected, low-maintenance plant collections make Pendularis unique in indoor greening. Pendularis has been awarded the Red Dot Design Award and carries the SWISS label, the highest quality label in Switzerland.

Unlike conventional greening systems, Pendularis is mounted on the ceiling or curtain rails. By hanging from fine wire cables and its delicate construction, the plants appear to float in the room. The plants in the Royal collection are slow-growing epiphytic plants from the tropics, such as Rhipsalis cacti and Peperomia. They often live on tree branches and are adapted to extreme conditions. The plants are inserted using a clever plug-in system, allowing for easy and clean rearrangement and replacement. All plants are produced 100% in Switzerland.

The plants are extremely low-maintenance. As living beings, however, they do require a minimum level of care in the form of regular watering, with the amount depending on the location and season. Occasional fertilization is only necessary after about six months, if at all. Water is poured into the specially designed opening in the closure caps. The water level can be easily monitored through a viewing window.
