Peddinghaus Locksmith's hammer with ash handle

Made from quality steel grade C 45E according to DIN 17200. Forged head with induction heat treatment of working surfaces (54 HRC). Finely polished working parts. Epoxy powder coating applied using an electrostatic process, followed by baking. Forged in a die and precision ground. Carefully hardened and properly tempered. Neatly painted and rust-protected through powder coating. The shaft and pin are artisanally finely ground. With a double-curved ash or hickory handle. Hickory handle: hardwood of high density, suitable for intensive or frequent use. Ash handle: high flexibility, particularly contributing to whip-like action and vibration absorption.
