PCE Instruments PCE-180 CBN Line finder

The Cable Tracker PCE-180 CBN finds connections and interruptions in cables within cable ducts, stages, and walls. In building wiring, it often becomes a challenge to determine which cable leads to which connection and where the cable runs, especially when drilling into a wall is required. The Cable Tracker PCE-180 CBN consists of a signal transmitter and a highly sensitive receiver. The signal transmitter is connected to the end socket or a cable conductor and sends a coded signal into the cable. The receiver tracks the cable or conductor based on the emitted signal, allowing you to check the unpowered lines for their path or any potential interruptions without damaging the insulation or having to break open walls and cable ducts. The cable tester/receiver allows for volume and sensitivity adjustments. It can test all standard wiring, network cables, and coaxial cables. The tone generator features crocodile clips for connection and a network plug. The tester/receiver can also be used with other tone generators for cable tracing.
