The cable locator provides a reliable solution for the precise detection of objects hidden in walls, floors, and ceilings. The integrated calibration function allows for exact calibration before each scan to maximize accuracy and reliability. The device quickly and efficiently finds metal, wood, beams, and live wires. It features an HD color LCD display that provides a clear visual representation of the scan results. In addition to an acoustic signal, the cable locator offers a visual display that guides the user directly to the location of the detected object. Directional arrows and signal bars on the display provide real-time information about the proximity and direction of approaching objects. The device is equipped with five different scanning modes that cover various requirements and enable the detection of different materials and depths. These include the ½ inch, 1 inch, and 1½ inch beam modes, as well as metal and live wire detection. It reliably locates the center and edges of metal, beams, and joists at depths of up to 38 mm. The metal mode detects ferrous and non-ferrous metals up to a depth of 60 mm, while the cable mode detects live unshielded wires up to a depth of 51 mm.
