PCE Instruments Ammeter

The ammeter has a measurement range of 0 to 1000 A AC/DC. Current measurement is performed inductively via the clamp on the ammeter. It can connect to live supply lines with a diameter of up to 32 mm. With the optional Rogowski coil, the measurement range can be extended to up to 3000 A AC. During current measurement, the ammeter features sub-functions that allow for the measurement of inrush current. This is a particularly important function, as motors, such as those used in ventilation systems, or hall lighting require a particularly high current at the moment of switching on. In addition to current measurement, the ammeter can also measure voltages from 0 to 1000 V AC/DC, resistances, frequencies, and capacitances. The functions can be set using the rotary selector switch on the ammeter. With the NCV function, voltage absence can be detected non-contact through the current clamp. When a voltage of 150 V AC is present, this is indicated by an additional red LED. This function is active for every measurement function selected via the rotary switch. For optimal illumination of the measurement site, an LED lamp is integrated into the ammeter. With the Bluetooth interface, the ammeter can be connected to an Android or iOS device. The free app for the ammeter allows for the display, storage, and further processing of measurement values. Thus, the ammeter covers a wide range of measurement tasks due to its multitude of functions.
