This 6-flute chamfer cutter with a chamfer angle of 90° is suitable for creating workpiece edges at a 45° angle. The cutter is made of tungsten carbide-cobalt and additionally coated with titanium-aluminum-nitride, which provides high heat resistance and oxidation resistance. The TiAlN coating is an all-round coating suitable for universal use. It allows for the machining of hard materials such as steel, stainless steel, or titanium alloys. Another advantage is that the use of coolant is not strictly necessary. However, using coolant generally increases the tool life of the cutter.
