This threading tool set includes both an internal and an external turning tool for thread cutting. The turning tools are equipped with carbide inserts. They can be used to machine nearly all possible materials such as plastics, aluminum, non-ferrous metals, iron, cast iron, and steel. The turning tool for external threads has a square shank measuring 10 mm x 10 mm, while the turning tool for internal threads has a round shank with two parallel surfaces. It can be clamped either directly in a steel holder or alternatively with a boring bar holder with an inner diameter of 10 mm. The use of carbide inserts ensures that the cut threads are always reproducible, eliminating the need to grind the cutting geometry, which is crucial for thread cutting. This set comes in a practical storage box.
