This quick-change drill chuck is supplied with a taper shank. The taper shank and the drill chuck are connected via a form-fitting B18 taper, meaning the taper shank can be separated from the drill chuck. The taper shank features a ejector collar, making it suitable for use in both drilling machines and the tailstock of lathes. The clamping range of this chuck is from 1 to 16 mm. Since the three jaws close completely, it is also possible to clamp tools with a shank diameter of less than 1 mm.
