This quick-release drill chuck is delivered with a taper shank. The taper shank and the drill chuck are connected via a form-fitting B16 taper, meaning the taper shank can be separated from the drill chuck. The taper shank features a tightening thread in the Morse taper, making it suitable for use in milling machines. The clamping range of this chuck is from 1 to 13 mm. Since the three jaws close completely, it is also possible to clamp tools with a shank diameter of less than 1 mm. Note: Drill chucks are not suitable for milling operations.
