This cutting die is used for the production of metric ISO standard threads. It is made of HSS and coated with titanium nitride (TiN) to increase tool life. The cutting die is manufactured according to DIN 223 and is subject to tolerance class 6g. Conical recesses are provided on the circumference for securing it in a die holder.
