The prism pair allows you to clamp, mark, align, or check a cylindrical workpiece in parallel. Each prism features two milled V-grooves with a 90° angle for clamping round materials. The sturdy clamp enables the use of the prism blocks on the side surface, including the base. Notably, the clamping brackets of this prism pair do not extend beyond the blocks, providing six support surfaces per prism. The small prism has a clamping range of 4 to 28 mm, while the large prism ranges from 4 to 38 mm. This means you can clamp round materials with a diameter of 4 to 38 mm. The parallelism of opposite surfaces, the parallelism and perpendicularity of the V-grooves in relation to all surfaces, and the perpendicularity of the adjacent outer surfaces is 0.01 mm. The flatness of the working surfaces is 0.005 mm. The prism pair is made of steel, has a hardness of 55 to 60 HRC, and is precision-ground on all sides.
