The chemical nickel plating of this collet chuck achieves a very high surface quality. The additional benefits of chemical nickel plating include excellent corrosion protection and very high wear resistance, resulting in a long lifespan. Since the internal cone is polished, a high system accuracy (collet in collet chuck) of a maximum runout deviation of 0.005 mm is achieved and guaranteed. To maintain this very high runout accuracy, we recommend using this collet chuck with the appropriate precision collet.
