The cutter head from this set is suitable for planing and grooving surfaces. The diameter of the cutter is 50 mm. The set consists of one cutter head and 20 matching indexable cutting inserts. The cutter head itself is nickel-coated. This nickel layer provides excellent corrosion protection. Nickel is resistant to air, water, diluted acids, lubricants, and most alkalis. Another feature of the nickel surfaces is the aesthetic enhancement of the cutter head. The cutter head is equipped with five TiAlN-coated indexable cutting inserts.
