The cutter head from this set is suitable for planing and face milling surfaces. The diameter of the cutter is 50 mm. The set consists of one cutter head and 20 matching indexable cutting inserts. The cutter head itself is nickel-coated, providing excellent corrosion protection. Nickel is resistant to air, water, diluted acids, lubricants, and most alkalis. Another feature of the nickel surfaces is the aesthetic enhancement of the cutter head.

The cutter head is equipped with five TiAlN-coated indexable cutting inserts. The advantages of the titanium aluminum nitride coating (TiAlN coating) include high heat resistance and oxidation resistance. This coating is designed for use in machining hard and tough materials as well as for high machining temperatures. The TiAlN coating allows for the machining of hardened, alloyed steels as well as cast materials.
