This machine vise made of cast steel is solidly constructed. It features two movable jaws that open and close simultaneously through the two opposing trapezoidal screws. The steel jaws are ground and each has a horizontal and a vertical prism. The movable hand crank attached to the handle makes it easier to operate the vise. For mounting on a machine table, there are two elongated holes on the sides.
