This ball turning device is made of blued steel. The rotating plate with a long handle is mounted on a base plate with a diameter of 105 mm. The carriage with the TiN-coated indexable cutting insert can be adjusted steplessly by ± 15 mm and can be fixed in the desired position using set screws. This adjustability allows for the creation of internal radii up to 15 mm and external radii or spherical shapes with a radius of up to 15 mm using this ball turning device. For mounting the turning device on lathes, there are two mounting holes for M8 internal hex screws on the base plate.
