This cross table is stable and solidly made of cast steel. The work table is ground on all sides. It features two continuous T-slots for T-slot nuts with M8 threads. The workpiece can be fixed in the desired position on the work table using clamping jaws, hold-downs, or similar devices. The cross table can be moved in the X and Y directions using the large handwheels equipped with a vernier scale. The travel distance can be easily and quickly read from a measuring scale on the Y-axis. The dovetail guides can be adjusted play-free with the help of pressure strips. The spindle of the Y-axis is protected from falling chips by a drag plate.
