This mechanical edge finder consists of two tapered cylinders connected internally by a spring. It features a tapered probe head with diameters of 4 mm and 10 mm, while the clamping shank has a diameter of 10 mm. The surface is hardened and ground, with an accuracy of 0.01 mm. To prevent the accumulation of metal shavings, the side where the probe heads are located is designed to be non-magnetic. For practical and proper storage, the edge finder is supplied in a plastic box. To ensure optimal use, the preservative grease must be completely removed before use.
